During the summer period from June to August, we need your help when our regular staff goes on vacation. We are therefore looking for a number of truck drivers who can support the operations during the summer.

You will increase your driving experience, and since we have staff for loading and unloading, you will not need to handle the cargo. In our new premises in Junosuando, you have the opportunity to eat and take breaks with your colleagues. Access to shower and sauna is available. The truck combinations you will be driving are Volvo FH16, 750 hp, 5-axles with SLP superstructure and 5-axle trailer. You will be driving Europe’s heaviest combinations – 90 tons total weight.

Job Responsibilities

You will transport ore from Kaunisvaara to Pitkäjärvi. Drive a vehicle combination consisting of a heavy truck with a heavy trailer (90 tons total weight with weight exemption) for Kaunis Iron Logistics AB. The transports of iron ore concentrate go from the processing plant in Kaunisvaara to the transshipment terminal in Pitkäjärvi near Svappavaara. Our operations are based in Junosuando.

Education and Qualifications

Valid driver's license and YKB for heavy truck with heavy trailer (CE), holder of a digital driver card for tachograph. It is an advantage if you have previously worked as a driver with heavy truck and trailer, worked as a bus driver, or driven ore transports.

As a person, you are attentive and accommodating, and you have an interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions.

Employment Conditions

Temporary position during the regular staff's vacation with the possibility of extension. Monthly salary according to collective agreement with the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
