About the Role

To describe the position as well as possible, we spoke with one of the security guards on site who described the work as follows:

- For me, what stands out about the position is the scenic environment in which you work. You get to experience all seasons and are truly close to nature. You also work a lot with job rotation, which means you get to learn all different tasks and it becomes a varied job. Additionally, it's a close-knit team working here and you do fun things together even outside of work.

As a security guard, your main task is to deliver security to our customers. You do this, for example, in a surveillance center or at an access control point. As a security guard, you have greater authority than a security officer and often work closely with our customers' personnel on objects that are crucial for Sweden's security.

If you want to work as a security guard in a scenic environment, you now have the opportunity to become one of our new employees at our security site on Lovön, near Ekerö, in western Stockholm. We prefer that you have your own car, and we can offer parking space and salary group supplements.

We need staff for both our day team and our night team. The schedule is Mon-Fri, shift work for the day is 06:00-18:00 and for the night 18:00-06:00.

You will, for example,:

• Staff the surveillance and command center
• Ensure that no unauthorized individuals have access to the premises
• Conduct internal and external inspections
• Be responsible for vehicle searches

Education: If you lack education as a security guard, it can be provided if Securitas chooses to proceed with employment. The basic training is carried out over 8 weekdays in Kista.

Career Opportunities: Within Securitas, there are good career opportunities. Several of our employees in managerial positions come from operational work.

Military Security Guard: If you have completed security guard training as part of the Armed Forces basic training, it is valid for civilian use. The training must have been completed in 2016 or later, and the training certificate must not be older than 5 years.

Requirements

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B

Meritorious if you

• have professional experience in the security industry
• already have a civilian or military security guard training

As a person, we believe that you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periods of high workload. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you, as an applicant, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them in a creative way.
