NBI/Handelsakademin is one of the leading vocational colleges in Sweden with campuses in Malmö, Gothenburg, Halmstad, Växjö, and Luleå. For 30 years, we have been providing vocational training and have educated several thousand individuals in Purchasing, Logistics, IT/Tech, Economics, Sales, Construction, and Trade, among others.

We are now looking for a driven educational leader for our operations in Växjö with a passion for competence development. Our educational leaders play a key role in the organization, responsible for driving, coordinating, and ensuring the quality of our training programs while building networks and relationships with the labor market.

Job Description

As an educational leader, you will be responsible for one or more training programs/classes. You will be the contact person for students, the assignor for educators, and an executor in the management group of the training program. In your role, you will primarily:

• Be responsible for planning and administration of training.
• Be responsible for recruitment and collaboration with educational consultants
• Be responsible for advising and admitting students
• Be responsible for relationships with companies for internships, management group work, and letters of intent
• Participate in the development of course plans
• Drive quality work together with other educational leaders

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience and who thrives in the role of project manager. It is advantageous if you have previously worked as an educational leader with experience in vocational training or other forms of competence development.

It is a significant plus if you have a good regional network within the labor market. We appreciate someone who enjoys making contacts and feels comfortable interacting with representatives from the labor market and can collaborate with authorities. You should be interested in what is happening in the labor market and the education sector.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, English, and Excel, and be a good administrator. You are responsible and plan your work efficiently to meet deadlines, focus on results, and are committed to achieving set quality goals.

As a person, you are outgoing, flexible, and stable, easily adapting to changing circumstances and focusing on the right things. To thrive in this role, it is important to collaborate well in a team, enjoy maintaining and creating new contacts, and be interested in supporting our students. You are service-oriented, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions.
