Stensbergskolan is located in the fairytale region of Småland, situated in a picturesque part of Ljungby town, with proximity to forests and nature. Within cycling and walking distance, we have access to various sports activities and the rich cultural offerings that Ljungby has to offer. At Stensbergskolan, approximately 340 students attend from preschool class to grade 6, and we have 3 after-school care departments. Stensbergskolan is characterized by clear structure and good team spirit. The school's staff work together to ensure that all students have the opportunity to succeed in their studies. The outdoor environment consists of a large schoolyard that has been newly renovated, and the gymnasium, craft rooms, and music room are completely newly built.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You plan your teaching in a structured and differentiated manner and use a language and knowledge-developing approach. You should have knowledge of how computers can be used as a learning tool in the educational activities. Together with other educators, you plan and develop the working methods of the team and our common values. As a teacher in after-school care, you are involved in leading the planning, follow-up, and improvement work in your department but also participate in the improvement work and planning for the entire team across all departments and the whole school. The after-school staff are responsible for planning and implementing break activities every day.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a trained leisure educator or primary school teacher within after-school care. Experience working with children is important.

You are positive, engaged, flexible, and clear in your leadership. As a teacher at Stensbergskolan, you need to be responsible and able to work both independently and in a team. It is important that you can establish good relationships with both students and guardians. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The Children and Education Committee wants to take advantage of the qualities that a balanced gender distribution, ethnic and cultural diversity brings to the operation.
