ABOUT THE POSITION

Norvatek is a Swedish company specializing in the development and manufacturing of pump stations for drinking water, stormwater, and wastewater. Their products play a central role in the water and sewage infrastructure by ensuring efficient transport of water to households and industries, as well as directing wastewater to treatment plants.

Norvatek is looking for someone who wants to help shape the future of water pump systems by designing reliable pump stations. With your knowledge of flow and sizing of piping systems, you will play a crucial role in creating efficient and reliable solutions for water and sewage management. As a Piping Designer at Norvatek, you will be involved in the entire process – from planning, sizing, and construction to prefabrication and assembly of piping systems. The role includes working with both standard piping systems and specifically tailored systems. As a designer, you will also have an advisory role and collaborate closely with project and production colleagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Duties

• Review and design piping systems, flow calculations, and potential sizing of the piping systems
• Stay updated with industry developments, standards, and technical specifications
• Provide technical support and develop review, construction, and as-built documentation for pump stations
• Ensure that all drawings submitted for production meet the organization's requirements and standards
• Ensure that components and assembly comply with applicable industry and business standards

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has relevant post-secondary education or work experience in construction, civil engineering, water & wastewater, or equivalent
• Has experience working with Autodesk Inventor
• Has good knowledge of the Office suite
• Has a valid driver's license (B)
• Is fluent in Swedish and English

It is a merit if you have previous practical experience in concrete manufacturing and/or water and wastewater installation. Knowledge can be acquired through education, experience, or self-learning.
