Are you an engineer with experience in Life Science and working in industrial or laboratory environments, ready for the next step in your career?
We are an engaged team that helps our clients develop the products, processes, and methods of the future for the Life Science industry. Our assignments range from development to production. Here, we work both together on larger Life Science projects and in individual consulting assignments. You will primarily collaborate with colleagues who have expertise in biotechnology and chemistry. Our clients appreciate our competence in the Life Science industry and entrust us with interesting assignments in molecular biology, cell culture, protein purification, analysis, and method development, etc.
As a consultant with us, you will primarily focus on:
- Various molecular biology techniques
- Cell culture
- Protein purification
- Downstream and protein analysis
- Method development.
Of course, this can also be expanded with other interesting areas. As a Life Science engineer, you will work broadly, and the focus areas may vary depending on the assignment. We are looking for employees in Uppsala, but regular commuting to Stockholm (or in the Mälardalen region) may occur.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a theoretical background combined with a strong interest in creative problem-solving. This may involve practical work with laboratory tasks or with instruments and production equipment.
We also expect you to check off the following skills/experiences:
- You are a graduate engineer in chemistry, biology, or biotechnology (or equivalent relevant technical-scientific education).
- You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the Life Science industry, e.g., in industrial research and development, cell culture, molecular biology techniques, protein purification, or method development.
- You have good experience with analytical methods such as SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Western Blot, PCR.
- You have experience in laboratory and/or production environments.
- Excellent knowledge of Swedish and fluent English, both written and spoken.
Meritorious experiences:
- You have experience with GMP and/or ISO.
- Experience in regulated activities and accustomed to documenting results and other work according to procedures and regulations.
- Driver's license (B).
To thrive in this role, you need to be driven, self-sufficient, and have good communication skills. You have the ability to collaborate and work in project form. You are structured, analytical, and can consider the whole without losing focus on delivery. You appreciate variation in tasks and adapting to change comes naturally.
Last but not least, you value teamwork highly, just like we do!
