About the Job

The knowledge of how Region Blekinge's digital landscape is interconnected and utilized is important. The enterprise architect supports the organization by viewing its needs in a broader context through operations, information, mobility, and infrastructure. A clear working method with an accompanying architectural framework is used as a tool. The enterprise architect has the overall responsibility to describe and design the strategic and tactical changes required to ensure an organization in digital transformation. Also responsible for planning and having a holistic view of the organization's strategic capabilities.

The tasks of the enterprise architect are to:

view the organization from a capability perspective
be involved in architectural governance with forums and councils
understand how processes, organization, and technology are interconnected and collaborate
be able to see solutions to a problem area and simplify the complex
translate the organization's strategic goals into a functioning architecture that supports business development through digitization.
produce architectural deliverables such as target architectures, reference architectures, strategies, governing principles, gap analyses
monitor the external environment regarding digital transformation

About You

We are looking for someone with a university degree in technology or another education combined with experience that we consider equivalent.
We are looking for someone who works or has worked with architecture and has previous experience establishing architecture in a larger organization.
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of how an organization needs to change through digitization.
It is advantageous if you have certification in architecture.
It is advantageous if you have experience working with any architectural framework.
It is advantageous if you have several years of experience with larger and complex technical solutions within IT infrastructure, system development, information architecture, and management.
It is advantageous if you have worked with concepts, principles, and methods for designing architecture.
It is advantageous if you have good knowledge in analysis, modeling, and description of architecture.
You are comfortable presenting architecture and digitization issues to larger groups.

You are comfortable speaking in front of larger groups.

You can lead work in smaller groups and harness the collective energy of the group towards a common goal.

The position is located in Karlskrona, but travel occurs throughout Blekinge County, as hospitals are located in two locations. Some work trips outside the county may occur.

About Development and IT

Region Blekinge's organization is divided into six areas of responsibility, one of which is development and IT. Here, resources are gathered within planning, digitization, information technology, research, quality and development, public health, environment, and sustainability. The area also includes the office of the patient board. The area manages and develops, among other things, the organization's work related to technical services, management systems, process-oriented working methods, and portfolio, architecture, technology, and information governance. There is also the Blekinge Competence Center, which is responsible for Region Blekinge's medical library, learning center, R&D agreements, the scientific council, and other research activities.

The Digitalization Unit has a strategic overarching responsibility for coordination, monitoring of the external environment, analysis, planning, and development within the area of digitization. The Digitalization Unit consists of two departments, the e-services department and the digital strategies department, with a total of 30 employees.
