We are looking for a committed and experienced IT architect who wants to shape and develop our IT infrastructure for the future. We offer a strategic and technical role where you will be responsible for designing our architecture, defining how data is managed and integrated, and ensuring that the development of our systems is sustainable and efficient in the long term.

You will work with:
- Responsible for designing and developing the municipality's IT architecture, including strategic choices for systems, data management, and integrations.
- Develop guidelines for how we handle data, integrations, and architecture to create a robust and flexible IT environment.
- Define frameworks and guidelines to ensure the best compatibility and performance in our development work.

- Ensure that our integrations between systems are efficient, secure, and sustainable over time.
- Conduct current state analyses to identify strengths and weaknesses in existing systems, as well as develop and present concrete improvement proposals.
- Be an advisory expert supporting various operations and evaluating development proposals to ensure that the technical solutions are sustainable and effective.

- Support system technicians in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and contribute to optimizing system performance and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with developers, system technicians, system administrators, and operations to ensure that technical solutions are optimized for both operation and use.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure a uniform and structured IT environment.

We are looking for someone who:
Has worked as an IT architect, system developer, or in infrastructure and has a genuine interest and experience in system architecture. You are a communicative and collaborative person who values building good relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. You have broad and deep knowledge in the field and the ability to see the big picture while focusing on both details and overarching strategies. You have a problem-solving mindset and a desire to continuously develop and improve both yourself and the solutions you work with.

Qualifications:
- An academic degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent solid work experience in system architecture and IT, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience in defining and implementing IT strategies and long-term architecture plans.
- Solid experience in integration solutions and API management as well as integration platforms.

- Deep knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft's ecosystem, including Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365, and other relevant Microsoft technologies.
- Knowledge and experience in database management and data modeling, preferably with experience in MS SQL Server and working with ETL processes, data warehouses, and data pipelines.

- Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and automation of system flows to contribute to a modern development and operational environment.
- Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish, including experience in writing technical documentation and user manuals.
- A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a larger organization with a complex IT environment and many users.
- Experience working with data integration, ETL processes, and modern data platforms.
- Certifications in cloud architecture, integration solutions, or database management (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, Microsoft Data Engineer).

- Experience with IoT platforms, event-driven integration patterns, or similar technologies.
- Experience in identity and access management (IAM), Zero Trust models, or secure API management.
