The Social Administration is one of the municipality's largest workplaces with about 550 employees and has the social board as its client. We are a dedicated and committed administration. Within the authority/open care department, you will have colleagues who work with authority exercises across the entire social services area and with open care directed towards children, families, and adults. You will also have colleagues working at the Family House. We are a department with a strong focus on development and improvement work, and we are currently fully engaged in transitioning to the new social services act, and we certainly expect you to be part of that journey. We have a competency development plan that offers you the opportunity to participate in competency-enhancing initiatives regardless of your experience and knowledge level in the profession. The unit for children, youth, and families consists of 19 employees, a unit manager, and a senior social worker. As an employee within the unit, you will receive external supervision together with your colleagues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for 1-2 social workers in the area of children and youth with a focus on the child's best interests. The assignment includes investigating and assessing children's needs for protection and support, as well as following up on interventions in accordance with applicable legislation. In the role, you will represent the child's needs and interests and involve the child in their own investigation and intervention.

In your work, you will draw on knowledge and proven experience. You will take into account current legislation, guidelines, and routines and make decisions according to the applicable delegation order. Contributing to the unit's development is part of your job responsibilities, and we work together to transition to the new social services act. The preventive approach is important to us!

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you with a degree in social work who wants to make a difference for our children and youth in Klippan. It is advantageous if you have work experience related to authority exercises focusing on children and youth. You are updated in the field of social work and have knowledge of applicable legislation. It is desirable that you have knowledge of and experience in investigation, case handling, and documentation according to BBIC.

For us, it is important that you show great commitment and interest in the target group while having the ability to maintain a clear focus based on the assignment. Authority work places high demands on you to be both flexible, able to perform, and be professional in often difficult and pressuring situations. You can adhere to given deadlines and have a good ability to structure, plan, and prioritize. To succeed in your work, you need to be good at communicating and collaborating.

You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, as well as a B driver's license. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and see that you have personal maturity, are secure, and stable. You have the ability to work independently and take responsibility and implement decisions made. We work in a politically governed organization, and it is important that you understand what this means and how it affects your everyday work situation.
