Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization established in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with Försäkringskassan/the municipality to personnel issues concerning personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

We are looking for a cheerful, reliable personal assistant for a 35-year-old man in Hässleholm who, after a diving accident fifteen years ago, broke his neck and is now granted assistance around the clock. The position is 85% and the shifts are scheduled as 12-hour daytime and night shifts with two hours of standby during the night shifts.

Our member will communicate what assistance he needs, so the job primarily involves being his arms and legs in everyday life. This can include helping with dressing and undressing, going on outings, or spending time with his friends and family. A driver's license is required, and since he has a dog, you should not be allergic to pets. Experience as a personal assistant is a plus, but the most important thing is that the personal chemistry is right.
