Your Role

Within the unit of District Cooling & Local Heating, we currently have four operations technicians working in local heating and district cooling production. In the role of operations technician with us, you will have a varied and mobile role where you contribute to the operation and maintenance of cooling systems, pump stations, pellet plants, and backup facilities.

Typical Responsibilities:

• Routine checks and status control of facilities in operation and performing safe shutdowns.
• Monitor, start up, and optimize production equipment.
• Troubleshooting, fault rectification, and fault reporting.
• Minor maintenance and repair work.

As an operations technician, the day starts with an operations coordination meeting where the day's tasks are reviewed. Since our facilities are geographically spread out, solitary work occurs daily. On-call duty is included in the position after training. The operational area is Västerås and neighboring municipalities. The placement is in Västerås or Surahammar.

We Are Looking For You

Who has completed an operations technician education, preferably with a focus on district heating. If you also have experience working as an operations technician, we consider it a strong merit. A driver's license (B) is required. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is meritorious.

Within Local Facilities, we currently have 11 colleagues distributed across two units, District Cooling & Local Heating and Kungsör, of which 3 colleagues are stationed in Kungsör. We are now looking for an Operations Technician who wants to create a world of opportunities with new energy.
