Your Responsibilities

You will work with service, maintenance, and repair of trains and their technical systems. Your tasks include troubleshooting and repairing engines, braking systems, electrical systems, and other mechanical and electrical components. You will work both with planned maintenance efforts and urgent repairs to ensure that the vehicles are in safe operating condition. The work also involves handling diagnostic tools, reading electrical schematics, and collaborating with colleagues to solve technical problems efficiently. Safety is a central part of the job, and you will follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure that maintenance work is performed according to industry standards.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience as a car mechanic, vehicle mechanic, or similar, who wants to develop within train maintenance. You have good knowledge of mechanics, electricity, and troubleshooting, as well as an understanding of how different systems interact. Experience working with heavy vehicles and hydraulics is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you are meticulous, solution-oriented, and have a strong technical interest. As a person, you are responsible, structured, and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You have a positive attitude, are curious to learn new things, and see challenges as opportunities. Since safety is a central part of the job, it is important that you are careful and follow procedures.
