Business Controller Supply Chain

Your tasks and responsibilities

You will become part of a fantastic and engaged team where everyone cares about performing while having fun. The Supply Chain Controlling team consists of a controller manager to whom you will report and a Supply Chain controller. Additionally, you will be part of and collaborate with a larger finance team, both in the Swedish company and internationally within Supply Chain. We are looking for someone who truly thrives in a factory environment and has a natural ability to build connections while also being able to take full responsibility for questioning and improving the processes that drive production and its economy.

As a Business Controller Supply Chain, you will hold a key position in the business with the responsibility to proactively lead and steer business results for the production facility in Filipstad. There will be a strong focus on budget, month-end closing in SAP, estimates, and product costing, but you will also work on projects and various incoming tasks at short notice within Supply Chain. You will be part of the factory's management team and will support the Factory Manager and other managers, both operationally and strategically.

We prefer your placement in Jönköping, where the Supply Chain controlling function is located, but we are also open to other locations closer to the factory in Filipstad. Travel to Filipstad will be part of the job, at least once a month.

Your primary tasks will include:

• Proactively lead and steer the total cost base of Supply Chain and suggest improvements
• Prepare budgets and estimates for the business
• Handle month-end closing in SAP
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within your own function as well as across functional boundaries
• Drive material efficiency, cost savings, and improvement projects
• Be proactive in key business processes such as annual budget and CAPEX
• Manage and harmonize the overall product costing process

Regarding your experience, we see that you have an academic educational background and experience in supply chain controlling in a production-related environment. You are used to working on improving processes and managing projects, processes, and efficiency measures. You have extensive experience and good knowledge of the Office suite and Excel, as well as experience working in business systems. Experience with SAP is a plus. You are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
