Temporary Position as Care Place Coordinator

We are looking for temporary staff for our care place coordinator function.

The care place coordinators work together with the clinic's chief physician and on-call staff to allocate patients, plan the inflow to the clinic, and find care places for acute patients. You will be a very important function to ensure that the care work in the departments runs as smoothly as possible.

Job Responsibilities:

As a care place coordinator, your main task is to ensure that patients arriving at the clinic are placed in the right department. You will work closely with the chief physicians and nurses in the seven departments. This work includes:

  • Allocating acute patients based on the patient's needs and the current care place situation. The patient is primarily admitted to the department whose mission corresponds to the patient's needs.
  • Distributing patient flow evenly across care units and reallocating patients between care departments when necessary.
  • Keeping up to date with the place situation in the seven care departments.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in psychiatric inpatient care and familiarity with the TakeCare journal system.

Employment Type:

Temporary employment, day/evening/weekend.

For patient-related work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area:

  • Background checks will be conducted before hiring decisions according to applicable guidelines.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • In addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-certified staff with patient contact.
