Your Role

We are currently looking for someone to work as a security guard at crime scene surveillance, hospital surveillance, and in detention facilities in Kiruna or Gällivare. We seek someone who is used to collaborating with colleagues to ensure quality in the work and has the ability to adapt to changing situations as required. Experience working in corrections, psychiatry, or similar professions where you have interacted with people in vulnerable situations is a plus.

The position involves working as a detention guard and, together with your colleagues, managing the operations of the detention facility and monitoring temporary objects that arise when there is suspicion of a crime. The employment begins with basic training that provides you with the right tools and knowledge to perform the work as needed.

Qualifications for the Position

• Valid security guard training VU1
• Swedish citizenship
• Fluent in Swedish
• Good knowledge of English
• Available to work irregular hours

Meritorious

• Valid security guard training VU2
• Experience working in corrections, psychiatry, or similar

We are looking for you who are a security guard, possess a valid security guard training (VU1), and have good physical condition to handle the demanding situations that may arise in the job. Since Securus is a security-classified company that primarily works with public authorities, a security clearance with a background check will be conducted according to the Security Protection Act.

Working hours: 20.00-08.00 Fridays & Saturdays, other times as needed
Employment form: Permanent employment with an initial probationary period
Salary: According to the collective agreement between Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union
