Your Role

Group Security within LKAB is expanding the organization and is now looking for new Safety Coordinators. In the role of Safety Coordinator, you will work with the entire LKAB group's strategic safety work.

The role includes, among other things:

• Planning, implementing measures, and following up on operational protection, security protection, as well as crisis and continuity planning.
• Developing and updating guidelines, conducting risk and safety assessments.
• Acting as support and requirement setter towards the operations, as well as conducting investigations.

Our Safety Coordinators have an independent and varied role with great freedom to plan their assignments. You will be part of the security department and collaborate with the team while being responsible for your own area. We are looking for two Safety Coordinators with different focus areas, where one of the positions focuses more on security protection and the other on preparedness planning.

What You Bring

As we are recruiting two employees with different focus areas, we have specific requirements for relevant experience for each position. The person working with security protection should have previous experience in the field, while the one focusing on preparedness planning should have a background in this area.

For both roles, we also expect you to have:

• Relevant post-secondary education in the security field or work experience deemed equivalent
• Driver's license B, which is a requirement for all our positions
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• It is advantageous if you have experience working with information security, training, or advising on security issues

As the position involves many contact points, you have an easy time creating good relationships and building networks. You perform your tasks with precision, instill trust, and have great integrity. We also see that you have a good ability to independently plan, drive, and follow up on work to achieve your goals.

Travel may occur in the position as the operations and the security department are located in several places.
