Luleå Gymnasieskola is Luleå Municipality's comprehensive upper secondary school, consisting of ten school units, one of which is a special upper secondary school. The school units are located in the four blocks of the high school village, forming a campus area in central Luleå. Here, over 2,400 students study, and we are about 350 who work here.

The contacts with the business community are many, and in the local steering groups, the business community collaborates with the upper secondary school to create good conditions for students to be well prepared for life after upper secondary education.

We are now looking for a teacher in mathematics and physics for the Natural Science Program at Luleå Gymnasieskola.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We need to strengthen the Natural Science Program with a high school teacher in mathematics and physics.

Within Luleå Gymnasieskola, we collaborate between the principal areas. You will belong to the Natural Science Program but will also teach in the Electrical and Energy Program. In addition to teaching and mentoring assignments, collaboration with program teams, meetings with lead teachers, within subject teams, and with student health, among others, is expected.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a qualified and certified high school teacher in the subjects of mathematics and physics.

We have a fantastic subject team in mathematics and physics with good collegial collaboration and high competence. Therefore, we are looking for someone who wants to collaborate, both within the subject and within the program. We see the ability for individual adaptations and flexibility, as well as a secure leadership in the classroom, as necessities for good goal fulfillment. We will also place great importance on your personal qualities.
