About the Company

We work closely with our clients to create sustainable and high-performance solutions in areas such as electronics, software development, and product design. We value collaboration, innovation, and a strong belief that the best results are achieved through engaged employees with a strong technical interest.

Job Responsibilities

In this assignment, you will work as a consultant for one of our clients, who develops the electric and hybrid-based work vehicles of tomorrow. You will be part of a team of about 16 specialists who together are responsible for developing the entire embedded platform – from design and prototypes to final implementation.

Your main focus will be to:

  • Design and further develop software for controlling PMSM/BLDC motors in C (with some use of assembler).
  • Participate from the idea stage to series production, covering everything from prototype development to testing and troubleshooting in a lab environment.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in both electrical and mechanical engineering to ensure that the systems meet both functional requirements and safety standards.
  • Document technical solutions, participate in requirements management, and contribute to meeting product goals regarding reliability and performance.

You will work in an environment characterized by short decision-making paths and great freedom in how the team drives development. Here, you are expected to take an active role in improving products and testing new ideas – always with a focus on sustainability, innovation, and long-term quality.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • At least 8 years of experience in developing embedded software for controlling PMSM/BLDC motors.
  • Very good knowledge of C for real-time programming.
  • Good ability to troubleshoot and measure in an electronics environment, including hardware testing.
  • Structured and analytical mindset, with experience in working requirement-driven and documenting solutions.
  • Fluent communication in English (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • University degree in engineering.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and late project changes.
  • Knowledge of C# for developing debugging tools.
  • Familiarity with product safety requirements and standards.
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation in English.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language.
