The Community Building Administration with the Property and Service operation is now looking for a new employee.

In the role of procurement officer with us, you will be responsible for our procurements and provide support for specific procurements. You will also collaborate with the municipality's central procurement department.

In the central administration of Property and Service, we are a small team with high competence that works closely together on various assignments with our units and other operations within Community Building. The varied operations of the administration mean that we carry out procurements in many areas.

Responsibilities

In your role, you will perform procurements and provide support to the operations within the Community Building Administration in both procurement and purchasing issues through consultation and training.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree and/or experience in public procurement/purchasing or other education that, together with work experience, is deemed equivalent.

To succeed in the position, you should have several years of work experience in independently leading and conducting public procurements according to the Public Procurement Act (LoU). Experience in construction and property management is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. Service and approachability are key principles, so you should have the ability to collaborate and communicate in a clear, pedagogical, and humble manner, creating trusting relationships with all contacts. You are responsible and have a natural talent for coordinating. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good computer skills.

In our properties, there are many different operations that are important for the residents, businesses, and visitors of Vänersborg Municipality, such as schools, preschools, special housing, sports/recreational facilities, and administrative buildings. These encompass over a hundred properties, spread throughout the municipality, covering approximately 280,000 m².

The operation is responsible for the management, operation, and service of the municipality's properties, including cleaning, property managers, caretakers, carpenters, and operations technicians. Within Property and Service, there are also land and development, procurement officers, project managers for new and renovation projects, case handlers, and reception.

Energy efficiency, strategic local supply, internal rental agreements, and operational economy are other tasks that are the responsibility of the operation. The operation has about 125 employees and four unit managers.
