The Support and Development Unit is a centrally organized team under Children and Education in Båstad municipality. Within the unit, there is the legislated student health team, including psychologists, school counselors, and school nurses, as well as special educators and speech therapists. The open preschool and coordination of the Family Center are also part of the unit. In total, we are 16 people working with health-promoting and preventive measures at the individual, group, and organizational levels. We also work with investigations and action planning for children/students in need of special support.

We are now looking for a psychologist who wants to work in primary school F-9. Possibility for full-time or part-time.

Placement: The position is linked to school activities in the northern part of the municipality, including Strandängskolan and Östra Karups school. We offer a stimulating work environment with friendly colleagues. Don’t hesitate to be part of the community!

RESPONSIBILITIES

The school psychologist in primary school participates in the school's local student health work at the individual, group, and organizational levels. You will participate in the student health team and have close cooperation with the school's management group and staff. The mission of the student health team is to support students' development towards the goals of education through health-promoting and preventive measures. The mission also includes interventions and consultations regarding student groups and individual students. In the individually focused work, the student health team has a special responsibility to remove obstacles to each individual student's learning and development.

You will also be part of the central student health psychology group that meets regularly for joint supervision and professional development. You will also participate when different professional groups within the central student health meet to work together on various operational issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed psychologist with experience in student health work according to the Education Act. You have a salutogenic perspective and find it easy to collaborate but also to work independently and consultatively. You need to be flexible and interested in development within the assignment.

You are interested in and follow research and proven experience within the field.

Working as a school psychologist in Båstad municipality means working based on values, goal and result-oriented, health-promoting, communicative, and development-oriented.

A driver's license and access to a car are required.
