About us

Närhälsan Lövgärdet health center and BVC is a well-established and stable operation in the Angered district with approximately 6500 registered residents and over 20 employees.

The health center is beautifully located right next to the Vättlefjäll nature reserve and Surtesjön. The district is home to residents from all over the world. We work based on values, where the equal worth of all people is in focus, rather than cultural and linguistic challenges.

Through continuous quality work, we have succeeded in making patients feel welcome, well treated, and satisfied with the care we provide. In patient surveys, the health center has been ranked among the top ten in the Västra Götaland region for several years. We have created a pleasant atmosphere in the workplace that everyone, regardless of profession, actively contributes to and wants to keep alive. BVC is part of a family center and works health-promoting close to several other actors.

About the job

Your tasks at the health center cover a wide range and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with outpatient care and digital healthcare meetings in primary care.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in a stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. The role also includes supervision of ST and AT doctors as well as medical students; it is an important part of our mission to educate tomorrow's healthcare professionals. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities, for example, through continuous further education of ten days per year.

About you

You are a licensed physician with specialist training in general medicine with the authority to work within the Swedish healthcare system. Language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, are a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development of the operations. In your work, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good approach. You enjoy teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in your work.
