About our job opening

As a nurse with us at the surgical and orthopedic clinic in Skene, we offer you a responsible and stimulating job where you can participate in the development of our unit.

We work in teams and have a very positive, engaged, and collaborative attitude towards each other and the work. We believe in a good introduction, which is tailored to your needs.

Your responsibilities

With us, you will work with the usual tasks of a nurse in our clinic. This includes, for example, providing telephone advice to patients, assisting in doctor consultations and outpatient surgeries, and conducting admission interviews with patients prior to surgery.

The position is a temporary contract expected to last from 2025-09-01 to 2026-12-31, and your working hours are scheduled for daytime, Monday to Friday.

About us

The surgical and orthopedic clinic in Skene is a smaller clinic with well-established routines and high production. We have a clinic with very satisfied patients who appreciate coming to a smaller hospital.

We are about 10 employees with different competencies such as nurses, nursing assistants, surgical planners, and medical secretaries, and we operate within orthopedics and surgery. The clinic is open Monday to Friday. During the summer, we close operations for a few weeks, and everyone takes vacation pretty much at the same time.

The Skene Operations Center is in a development phase where we will invest even more in high production through efficiency, good flows, effective teamwork, and quick decision-making processes. We operate within the fields of surgery, orthopedics, and ear-nose-throat.

Your profile

You who are applying for the position are a licensed nurse with at least four months of experience in the profession. We place great importance on personal suitability, seeking someone with good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, a service-oriented approach, and a willingness to engage in development work. We also value a patient-focused approach and the ability to work independently. Experience in postoperative care is an advantage for the temporary position.
