Härryda municipality consists of the areas Mölnlycke, Landvetter, Härryda, Hindås, Rävlanda, and Hällingsjö. It is a ten-minute drive and a 15-minute bus ride from central Gothenburg to the central locality of Mölnlycke. The municipality has about 40,000 inhabitants. Landvetter Airport is located in the municipality. The proximity to both nature and the city attracts many to settle here. The municipality has a significant influx of families with children and is a child-friendly and expanding part of the Gothenburg region. Approximately 2,700 people work in the municipal administration. Härryda municipality offers a wellness allowance of 3000 SEK.
We are looking for a psychologist for the Student Health unit in Härryda municipality, with an office in Mölnlycke. The Student Health unit consists of three teams: the Psychology team, the Attendance team, and the Speech Therapy team. The unit is characterized by high competence, systematic work, and a spirit of development. The current position is divided between the Psychology team (60%) and the Attendance team (40%).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a school psychologist, you provide the psychological expertise in the school's student health work and are an important profession in the overall student health team. The mission of the student health team is primarily to work health-promoting and preventive and to support students' development towards educational goals. The current position involves shared work between school psychological work in the student health team and student-centered individual interventions for students with problematic school absenteeism, as part of the Attendance team.
Your main responsibilities in the Psychology team include competence and operational development, implementation of evidence-based methods, supervision, consultation, and conducting assessments. The work takes place at the organizational, group, and individual levels. Your main responsibilities in the Attendance team are individual interventions with students experiencing problematic school absenteeism, where a psychological intervention is deemed crucial to prevent long-term absence or address school-related mental health issues. The principal leads the student health work in the schools, and you will collaborate with the professionals in student health, teachers, other school staff, and other stakeholders.
The Psychology team meets weekly for psychologist meetings to work together on operational, development, and patient safety issues. The Psychology team has shared external supervision. The Attendance team also meets regularly for collaborative work. The Psychological Management Responsible (PLA) is tasked with supporting the work with processes and routines regarding HSL interventions.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a licensed psychologist.
- Has experience in clinical work with children and adolescents at the primary or specialist care level.
- Has experience in school psychological student health work.
- Is goal-oriented, empathetic, collaborative, and can drive your own work independently. It is important that you can be flexible and structure your work according to the needs of the operations and students.
It is an advantage if you have training in PAX in schools, YAM, or the school model PALS/IBIS. It is also advantageous to have good knowledge in learning psychology, positive behavioral support, and CBT.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. The position offers great opportunities for flexibility based on the municipality's guidelines and the needs of the operations.
