System Administrator in Support

Responsibilities
In this role as a System Administrator in support, you are an important part of ensuring a stable, secure, and efficient IT environment for the organization's employees. You will work closely with users and be responsible for ensuring that IT support functions in everyday life, both at desks and in shared spaces such as conference rooms. This is a full-time position that requires physical presence at the office in Linköping.
Your mission:
As a System Administrator in support, you will be a key person in a team that works with the operation, support, and service of the organization's IT environment. You will handle everything from cases and incidents to administration and delivery of client equipment.
You will work with:
- Receiving and managing cases and incidents via the ticket management system
- Performing client management, including installation and delivery of computers and related IT equipment
- Administering and working in Active Directory
- Troubleshooting and supporting users, as well as documenting solutions and instructions
- Ensuring that the hardware register is accurate and up to date
- Contributing to the team's knowledge database and instructions
- Working with systematic troubleshooting and supporting the organization with technical solutions
Your Profile and Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, service-minded, and has a genuine interest in technology and system administration. You are used to working in an environment where structure, documentation, and user support are a natural part of everyday life.
To succeed in this role, you have:
- At least 2 years of experience in IT support/end-user support
- Experience with Active Directory and ticket management systems
- Good knowledge of troubleshooting and client management
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure, servers, networks, SCCM, and databases
- Experience with Windows and Linux
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is a plus if you also have:
- Experience working in larger organizations with complex IT environments
- Knowledge of ITIL, documentation, and database management
- Experience with storage solutions
