About the Role

As an Investment Controller, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an improved and enhanced investment process that creates clarity and ensures we invest where it creates the most value. At the same time, you will participate in our largest investment projects and ensure that the processes work in practice.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Driving the development of a new and improved investment process and implementing it within the organization.
• Participating operationally in large strategic investment projects by validating business cases, budgets, and analyzing outcomes.
• Acting as an advisor and support to managers and management teams on investment issues.

As an Investment Controller, you will belong to the Business Control team, which is part of the Finance department. The team consists of knowledgeable and engaged Controllers who support various parts of our operations. Together, you contribute to the common mission of Business Control, such as improving processes and tools and developing the controller role.

You can be based at our headquarters in Stockholm or at our regional office in Karlstad. Travel in the role occurs to a limited extent, mainly to our various offices.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is driven to create structure and clarity, has strong analytical skills, and a good business understanding. You are used to driving processes forward and have a pedagogical and communicative approach that helps you engage the organization in change efforts.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• A university degree in business administration or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in qualified controller work within larger projects, preferably related to community building or infrastructure.
• Experience in adhering to guidelines, procedures, and regulatory compliance in the investment area.
• Experience in business development and implementing processes within large companies.

Your skills in Excel are very good, and you have a high ability to work efficiently with large datasets. You possess strong oral and written communication skills in both Swedish and English and are comfortable presenting various types of decision materials.

If you also have experience in building and managing an investment process in a larger organization, have worked as a management consultant, or have developed investment calculations, it is a merit.
