JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in our new department for grades 4-6 at the after-school center at Lillmons School, you will plan and be responsible for the teaching at the after-school center. During the school day, you may work as a resource for students or classes that have extra support needs during the day or teach in the subject you are qualified for and have preparation time. You will have the main responsibility for planning and working with after-school activities after school hours and with break activities and other socially promoting activities during the school day.

You will collaborate either with resource teachers and/or teaching assistants in your work at the after-school center, so that we can create a sustainable schedule that meets the existing needs.

Our new after-school department will be located in the Old Lillmons premises during the school year 2025-2026, where students in grade 4 will attend during the year. (Students from grades 5-6 may also be at the after-school center before and after school hours)

If you have qualifications as a teacher in after-school care and have worked in this field, it is a significant merit, but if you lack formal qualifications, yet are deemed suitable and have experience working in after-school care, we will discuss a relevant arrangement.

• has the ability to inspire and engage students, both individually and in groups.
• can independently plan teaching projects and collaborate with others, and implement teaching with high quality for both individual students and groups.
• is easy to collaborate with, is well acquainted with the governing documents for after-school care.
• is flexible, secure, solution-oriented, and enjoys collaborating with both students, educators, and guardians.
• can express yourself easily in speech and writing and actively work on your relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians.
