Job Responsibilities

As an educator, you will stimulate students' learning, well-being, and development. You will work with students who, for various reasons, have encountered difficulties in their studies and are at risk of not achieving their goals. You will plan and implement individualized instruction and work closely with the principal, special educators, and other teachers. Your role is central to the attendance-promoting and preventive work at the school. Together with your team, you will create conditions for a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and engaged.

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• Teaching certification in mathematics and science
• Experience working with age-integrated groups and differentiating instruction to meet students' diverse needs
• Good computer skills and the ability to use digital tools in your work
• Proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written

We are looking for someone who easily builds relationships and creates trust with students, guardians, and partners. You are a team player who enjoys working closely with others, while also having the ability to take responsibility and work independently to achieve set goals.

Your attitude is solution-focused, and you approach challenges with patience, flexibility, and a professional demeanor. You have strong communication skills and adapt your teaching to meet students' needs, while also approaching people from diverse backgrounds with empathy and insight.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF)
• Knowledge of special educational methods and strategies
• Experience working in small teaching groups or resource schools
