Constructor for an exciting project in the feasibility study phase, Stockholm

We are now looking for a responsible constructor and a managing constructor for feasibility work within a comprehensive maintenance and adaptation project on behalf of our client in Stockholm.

The project is carried out in collaboration with a public client in Stockholm and aims to modernize existing buildings.

Project Description: A culturally classified building constructed between 1966 and 1971, currently serves as a central part of Stockholm University's operations. The project aims to carry out necessary maintenance and adaptations of premises for future operations, as well as investigate and visualize alternative layouts.

The assignment starts in May 2025 and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026. There are also options for continued design according to the contract.

Responsibilities:

✔ Analyze and calculate different constructive alternatives in early stages.

✔ Produce sketches, drawings, and preliminary calculations for decision support.

✔ Ensure that the project complies with relevant laws, regulations, and construction standards.

✔ Collaborate with architects, clients, and project teams to develop sustainable and innovative solutions.

✔ Contribute expertise in reuse and sustainable changes to premises.

Qualifications:

Responsible Constructor:

✔ At least 10 years of experience in construction design, of which at least 5 years in a leading role.

✔ Engineering degree and documented experience in feasibility studies and early stages.

✔ Experience in renovation projects within higher education institutions and work with culturally historical buildings.

✔ Ability to independently lead feasibility studies and technical analyses.

✔ Reference projects of culturally classified office buildings and/or higher study environments.

Managing Constructor:

✔ At least 5 years of experience in the role of managing constructor.

✔ Engineering degree and experience in early stages and design.

✔ Knowledge of applicable construction standards, building regulations, and sustainable building methods.

✔ Reference projects of culturally classified office buildings and/or higher study environments.

Personal Attributes:

✔ Independence and ability to drive projects forward.

✔ Good collaboration and communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

✔ Proactivity and ability to find innovative and sustainable solutions.

✔ Experience in reuse and sustainable changes to premises.
