Experienced Project Engineer for E4 Förbifart Stockholm (Lovö) Job Responsibilities

E4 Förbifart Stockholm is divided into many sub-projects. You will belong to our project organization in the Tunnel Group, which consists of three tunnel projects: Project Tunnel North, Project Tunnel South, and Project Tunnel Lovö. This position is part of the Bergtunnlar Lovö project.

In the role of Project Engineer, you will assist one or more project managers in the Bergtunnlar Lovö project and actively work on planning, following up, and administering various parts of the project. You will be involved in scheduling, finance, risk, quality, and handover to management, making you an essential part of project management. The work involves a lot of contacts both internally and externally with consultants, contractors, construction managers, and other stakeholders.

As a Project Engineer, you will

• participate in project and construction meetings
• support our project managers
• be knowledgeable about the contract content related to the project
• manage administrative aspects regarding documentation, record-keeping, and meeting minutes
• be responsible for coordination and management of the notification system
• contribute through investigation and development of working methods

Do you wish to work partially remotely? In this position, there may be an opportunity to work from home up to 40 percent of your working time. The work location is Sundbyberg, but you will need to be present at the project office at Ekerövägen 30 at least three days a week.

Who are you?

As a senior project engineer, you need to have several years of current experience in similar tasks in large construction or infrastructure projects, preferably both as a client and contractor. You are thus used to working with, for example, scheduling, financial follow-up, risk management, and contract/agreement follow-up and are fully self-sufficient in the role.

In addition to the above, you have

• a university or college degree of at least 180 credits (120 points) with a focus on civil engineering, technology, or a related field, or other educational background combined with relevant experience that we assess as equivalent
• good knowledge of contract law and management of contract changes such as variations and notification management (AB/ABT/ABK, AMA and/or MER)
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• a driver's license for passenger cars

It is advantageous if you have current experience in

• preparing tender documents and evaluating incoming bids
• similar roles where you have managed multiple ongoing contracts or assignments
• working in one (preferably several) of the following systems: Lime, CDI, C7 and/or Chaos
