Do you want to work in an inspiring school environment where safety, knowledge, and engagement are at the center? We are now looking for flexible and responsible substitute teachers for our substitute pool.

Nils Holgersson School is a free school and a parent cooperative in the heart of Simrishamn. Approximately 215 students attend from preschool to grade 9, and we have a staff of around 40 dedicated employees. The school culture is characterized by close relationships, participation, and a strong belief in each student's ability.

We offer substitutes in:

• Preschool
• Lower, middle, and upper secondary school
• After-school care

Job Responsibilities

As a substitute, you will cover for the absence of regular staff and contribute to ensuring that teaching and activities continue with quality and structure.

Your tasks may include:

• Conducting lessons and activities according to planning
• Maintaining good order in the classroom and taking attendance
• Creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment
• Collaborating with colleagues and school management
• Restoring the classroom after the lesson ends
• Providing feedback to regular staff on how the day went

Qualifications

• Pedagogical education is an advantage
• Experience working with children and youth
• You have good communication skills and can build relationships
• You are secure, clear, and can set boundaries
• You can organize your work and follow instructions

Both job responsibilities and qualifications vary depending on the subject and activity.
