We are looking for a skilled HIL engineer to be part of one of the most interesting and challenging projects you will come across! In this very intense and interesting development phase, our goal is to create the driver's new digital workplace.

Being part of the HIL team, the heartbeat of the project, presents an opportunity for you to have a key role in the project and face daily challenges. You will have the opportunity to influence our way of working by coming up with creative solutions.

Our group is building and maintaining Hardware In the Loop (HIL) environment for the Digital Driver Workplace (DDW). The final solution will be a test environment that will be used by testers, developers, and also our CI/CD.

Role summary

As an HIL engineer, your daily work is to:

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot our HIL Rigs, e.g., by enhancing the HW based on continuously evolving needs and synchronizing SW configurations accordingly.
• Create a multi-purpose cable harness, e.g. for power, digital/analog I/Os, high-speed data.
• Provide support to stakeholders in different locations with their test rigs.
• Develop creative solutions for problems about the test rigs, e.g., to facilitate access to the devices under test and maximize the efficiency of the rigs.

Who you are

As a person, you have good communication skills, are cooperative, and take responsibility for having a good test environment for our project. You are at your best with a high workload and use your strong problem-solving skills and creativity.

You have a few years of experience working with hardware environments and relevant tools. You are familiar with communication protocols in vehicles such as CAN and have a good understanding of different programming languages such as C++, and Python.
