About us: Our health center is the heart of the community with approximately 6,700 registered patients. We offer a versatile operation with medical consultations, healthcare advice, district nurse consultations, specialized nursing consultations in diabetes, blood pressure, asthma/COPD, risk/addiction, and care coordination for mental health. We also provide maternal and child health care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, rehabilitation coordination, and counseling services.

About the position: We are now looking for a curator/therapist who wants to be part of our dedicated team. With us, you will have a fun and challenging job where you can truly impact patients' quality of life! We believe it is important to support patients in their mental health and help them manage life's challenges, especially through CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy).

Since we are 75 km from the nearest hospital, the work is very varied, ranging from short-term counseling support to long-term therapy. We have fantastic collaboration between different professional categories and utilize each other's various skills in our daily work. Everyone needs to be flexible and help each other.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual sessions for assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients with mental health issues
• Lead group therapy and support groups
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on CBT
• Document and follow up on patients' progress and treatment results
• Collaboration/teamwork with other healthcare providers internally and externally
• Provide support and advice to patients via phone and digital platforms

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Relevant post-secondary education to work with mental health in primary care
• Basic psychotherapy training (CBT level 1)
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish

Personal qualities:

As a person, you are secure in yourself and have good initiative and planning skills. You see collaboration as a natural part of the work where good interaction with patients and colleagues is included. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.
