The Labor Market and Integration Unit (AMI) is responsible for all labor market measures within the municipality's employer area to stimulate employment and combat unemployment in the municipality.

The mission of the Labor Market and Integration Unit is to guide, engage in dialogue with, and support Borlänge residents on their path to self-sufficiency. We work strategically and cross-functionally with the municipality's administrations, the Employment Service, the business community, and more.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Labor Market and Integration Unit (AMI) offers employment to individuals with mental disabilities according to the Social Services Act, SoL. The role of the supervisor is creative and varied, and you will work as the sole supervisor in the group for a significant part of the time.

Your work will consist of guiding, coaching, supporting, motivating, and inspiring the Borlänge resident/participant with the aim and goal of providing the individual with meaningful employment and work-oriented rehabilitation, increasing the individual's participation and independence. The employment primarily consists of work in a store/warehouse with various tasks.

You will be responsible for a work group that has close collaboration with Erikshjälpen and other operations within AMI. The work involves planning and structuring various tasks based on the participant's unique individual circumstances. The work entails close cooperation with employment consultants, with supervisors in other operations, and close collaboration with other relevant parties and actors that are important in the participant's network, such as housing support, service housing, authority contacts, employers, and healthcare contacts.

As a supervisor, you work based on each individual participant's needs. You continuously work with documentation, implementation plans, and individual follow-up and evaluation in the workplace.

We work development-oriented and change-focused to adapt to the needs of the environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a high school diploma and post-secondary education, such as vocational training or courses focused on psychiatry, pedagogy, behavioral science, social work, or other relevant education deemed suitable by the employer.

You have good knowledge of the labor market and the conditions that apply in working life. You have documented work experience with the target group within psychiatry/mental health and within labor market policy activities, as well as experience in guiding and supporting individuals for personal development based on individual needs.

You should be able to express yourself easily in both speech and writing and have documentation and computer skills. A valid driver's license (B) is required.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge/training in motivational interviewing (MI), low-arousal approach, 7Tjugo, and solution-focused approach.

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills, clear and effective communication, and experience in creating and maintaining good relationships, with knowledge and understanding of the target group's need for flexible individualized solutions. We want you to meet others with a positive attitude, have the ability to inspire and engage, and maintain a humble approach. We want you to be committed and feel responsible for working for the best interests of Borlänge residents.

You are accustomed to setting goals, are quality-conscious, flexible, structured, and can easily adapt to changing circumstances, valuing differences and understanding how background, culture, and group affiliation affect oneself and others. You work solution-focused and can see opportunities when faced with new challenges, driven by a desire to continuously work for the development of the operation in collaboration with colleagues. You have a good ability to independently structure and plan content for participants based on their circumstances.
