School Social Worker to Vansbro Municipality

The Learning Sector is responsible for all municipal activities within preschool, primary school, after-school care, adapted primary school, secondary school, adult education, and Vansbro Dance and Music School. We are a small municipality with small school units, which leads to safety and friendliness. We have work teams where we get to know all our students, which provides good conditions for relationship building. With us, you will find a community in the work team and a well-functioning student health service that works directly at the school and is therefore very present. Some of the municipality's schools also have student coaches.

As a school social worker, you will be part of the student health team at each principal's unit. This means that you will work at several different schools. Organizationally, you belong to the central student health service led by the student health manager. The central student health service includes school social workers, school nurses, school doctors, and school psychologists.

You will:

• work health-promoting and preventive

• work cross-professionally and contribute to creating a good social learning environment for students' knowledge and social development
• work with attitudes, school environment, and values
• experience community and a well-functioning student health service that works directly at the school
• make social assessments and provide support to students, parents, and school staff
• collaborate with other authorities or organizations
• achieve well-functioning collaboration at all levels
• document, follow up, and evaluate.

You must have:

• a degree in social work or another higher education that the employer deems relevant for the assignment
• experience working with individuals and/or groups
• a valid driver's license (B).

Before employment, degree certificates/transcripts and a valid extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record must be submitted.
