ABOUT THE POSITION

Vi Omsorg is now looking for a personal assistant who wants to work in Insjön. During the period before and after summer, you will work a fixed shift per week, with the possibility to take on more hours if needed. During weeks 27–31, there is also the opportunity to work up to two shifts per week as you cover for regular staff during their vacation.

In the role of personal assistant, you will be active both in the home environment and at the school in Borlänge. During the summer holiday, you will mainly work from home in Insjön, while the shifts before and after summer start and end at the school in Borlänge.

The working hours are usually scheduled as follows:

• 1:00 PM – 8:00 AM, with waiting time during the night.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a cheerful, lively 18-year-old boy who lives with his family. He has an autism diagnosis and needs support in many areas of daily life for it to function well.

Furthermore, he is active and curious about the world – he enjoys doing things and appreciates outings and fun activities. This can range from taking the train, swimming at the pool, to watching an exciting hockey match. To embark on adventures together, it is a requirement that you as an assistant have a B driver's license.

WHO ARE YOU?

To thrive in the role of personal assistant with our client, you need to be a warm, positive, and attentive person. You have a good sense of humor, are confident in yourself, and meet others with an open mind. Since the client enjoys doing things and going on outings, it is important that you are curious, engaged, and find it fun to create meaningful moments in everyday life.

You need to be flexible, proactive, and have good communication skills – both with the client, their family, and the team leader. It is an advantage if you enjoy working in a family-like environment, where relationships and interaction are a significant part of the job.

For this position, you are required to:

• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have a B driver's license
• Not be allergic to cats
• Have a current background check

It is also advantageous if you have:

• Experience working as an assistant

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
