Summer jobs in community life is an initiative where Borlänge municipality provides financial support to associations offering summer jobs. The associations are approved by Borlänge municipality.

If you were born in 2007, 2008, or 2009 and are registered in Borlänge and have not had a summer job within Borlänge municipality before, you can apply for these jobs and gain your first work experience while earning your own money.

Ungar Örnar is an organization where children, youth, and adults fight for children's rights. We want to create a society where all children and young people have a meaningful, fun, and safe leisure time as well as an equal childhood. We have activities all over Sweden! We offer camps, craft groups, and other fun leisure activities for children and youth – often at no cost!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Café with various tasks, lending toys, games, disc golf, canoeing, setting up quiz walks and story trails. Various caretaker tasks may also be included in the job responsibilities if there is interest.

At the yard/park play area in Jakobsgårdarna/Tjärna Ängar/Bullermyren, you will help create activities for children aged 6-12 years. Outdoors in three different residential areas.

The summer is divided into 3 periods, each period consists of 3 weeks, and if you are offered a summer job, you will work one period during the summer, for a maximum of 90 hours.

Additionally, the following is mandatory to be considered:

• Registered in Borlänge municipality
• Born 2007-2009
• Not previously had summer work in Borlänge municipality

During the interview, you as a candidate need to provide proof of citizenship in Sweden/EU/EES or a valid work residence permit.
