Nyhem School is a primary school for grades 7-9. The school has 6-7 parallel classes in each grade and approximately 480 students. We are 60 skilled employees working for the best interests of the students at the school. The principal's area works with three overarching goals:

• Good well-being
• High school attendance
• High goal fulfillment

At the school, we work structured based on the student health meeting (EHM). Right now, we are focusing our development work on resilience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for two special education teachers who will work with students in need of extra support in mathematics, Swedish, and English. You will be part of one of our four teams and will work together with subject teachers in this team to plan the teaching for the students. The position will involve close collaboration with the student health team, teaching staff, and other authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed special education teacher or equivalent competence. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Good digital skills are desirable. In Ängelholm municipality, we use the learning platform itslearning for communication with students and guardians. It is also important that you have a good ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.

You must be able to present a criminal record extract from the police for work in schools.
