Information about the Educational Initiative Chalmers Tracks

Chalmers Tracks is the unit responsible for the physical learning environment Chalmers Fuse. Currently, four people work in the learning environment as instructors, experts in various workshops and labs.

The educational initiative Tracks aims to better prepare our students for increasingly complex global societal challenges by providing them with the conditions to develop interdisciplinary competencies. In Tracks courses, students with different knowledge and backgrounds come together to work on current societal and/or research challenges. Tracks also serves as a testing ground for new, innovative educational formats and pedagogical approaches.

Job Description

As an entrepreneurial university, Chalmers is now investing in a student coach who will be the first contact person for all students with entrepreneurial ideas. The idea is that this person will create connections with other actors in and around Chalmers. The contact person will coach and guide students further depending on their level and needs to develop their ideas.

The position is based in Chalmers Fuse, which is a creative environment open to all students at Chalmers. In this environment, students should have easy access to an initial meeting with the student coach to discuss their ideas. The work involves, in addition to coaching and guiding students, organizing activities that can showcase what is already being done in Fuse. Such activities may include events that can inspire and attract students to develop new projects and ideas.

Employment Type

Temporary part-time position lasting approximately 1 year. Desired start date 2025-05-01

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a master's degree, preferably with a focus on entrepreneurship or another relevant field. You should have experience in running your own projects, businesses, or other entrepreneurial activities from idea to completion.

The position requires a driven personality and a joy in working independently and creatively. We expect you to have good Swedish and English skills in both spoken and written form, as well as the ability to coordinate, implement, and present the activities created in Chalmers Fuse.

Great emphasis will be placed on social competence and the ability to collaborate and take initiatives.
