Background

We are currently looking for a self-driven, motivated, and active Account Manager (field sales) for our district in Norr- & Västerbotten, focusing on the local market in and around Skellefteå. You will be responsible for selling/offering DB Schenker's product and service range with a focus on land transport. We believe in growth in the region, and you will have an office location in a newly built terminal in Skellefteå, but preferably, you will be out visiting our new customers.

Are you the one we are looking for?

You have a strong focus on new customer acquisition and contribute to increased sales by establishing new business relationships. As an Account Manager, you are also responsible for developing our existing customers by ensuring their transport needs and their strategic development needs.

  • You must be well-versed in our customer's operations and their industry affiliation as a whole.
  • Your work is carried out through targeted activities, negotiations, and renegotiations with our customers.
  • You are also responsible for implementing activity plans, business plans, and for continuously working according to set goals and guidelines.
  • You are responsible for contracts and contract writing as well as documentation of agreed transport services.

Your closest sales colleagues are stationed in Luleå and Umeå, and the district's management group, including your immediate manager, is based in Umeå.

What are we looking for?

  • You have experience in successful service sales both through face-to-face meetings and digital channels.
  • You speak and write Swedish and English well.
  • You have good computer skills (you can use Excel and PowerPoint, and if you have experience with CRM systems, it is an advantage).
  • You have a driver's license.
  • It is desirable that you have knowledge and experience in logistics and land transport.
  • You are engaged and results-oriented with a high level of ambition.
  • You are flexible, solution-oriented, and used to making decisions.
  • You are a trustworthy and relationship-building person with high social competence and an interest in people.
  • You are used to working independently but also in a team.
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
