JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibilities consist of planning, developing, and coordinating adult education in Swedish for immigrants and our courses in Swedish as a second language at the basic level. Part of your working hours may be scheduled in the evening as we also have evening courses in basic Swedish.

The assignment also includes the introduction of new students, method development, quality work, evaluation, and follow-up of results, staffing issues, and schedule planning. Teaching Swedish for immigrants or basic Swedish may be included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a relevant university education, teaching certification, and at least 60 credits in Swedish as a second language. You have experience in educational planning within adult education and are familiar with the conditions of adult education.

You have a good ability to coordinate, organize, and follow up on educational activities. You also possess strong pedagogical skills and can lead and motivate others.

You have a democratic approach where collaboration is an important part. You can create good professional relationships with staff, students, and external partners. As a person, you are characterized by commitment, good judgment, and perseverance.

The professional role requires you to work independently and make your own decisions. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, collaboration skills, flexibility, and the ability to work efficiently. You are quality-conscious and open to trying new working methods. You can handle high workloads during peak times, such as at the start of courses or during exam weeks.

You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, as well as good digital competence.
