Are you an educator with experience working in schools and after-school programs? Do you want to work in a small team where there is plenty of room for creativity and initiative? Then the position of teaching assistant/after-school educator at Alexandraskolan might be for you!

Teaching Assistant. You will work as a teaching assistant for a student in need of special support. Together with support from your colleagues, you will be responsible for the student during the school day. You will work towards solutions to find successful ways to support the student's social and academic development. Personal suitability is highly valued.

After-School Teacher/Educator. You will, together with your colleagues in the work team, be responsible for the content, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the program. Together, you will ensure that the teaching in the after-school program develops according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's governing documents. This takes place through regular scheduled meetings with the school's other teachers in the after-school program, where there is room for creativity and initiative. The position includes both school collaboration and work in the after-school program.

Formal Qualifications. We are looking for someone who is a qualified after-school educator and has experience in the profession. If you are newly graduated, you are welcome to apply. You have good IT skills and are accustomed to using ICT in your work. If you have leadership experience and are comfortable taking initiative, it is an advantage for the position. Personal suitability is highly valued.

ABOUT US. Montessoriskolan Alexandra is a small independent school with about 60 students run by a non-profit foundation without profit motives. We have students in grades F-6 as well as after-school activities. The school is integrated with a preschool and a nursing home, which brings positive elements to the operation. The school has a Jewish and Montessori profile, and we have students and staff from various faith backgrounds. We offer an interesting and exciting job where we work for diversity and inclusion.
