Scandic Karlskrona is located right by the water with a fantastic view of the archipelago. At the same time, the hotel is centrally located with close proximity to most of what Karlskrona has to offer. The hotel opened in 2010, and this summer we welcome our guests to a newly renovated and expanded hotel with a total of 255 rooms, 9 meeting rooms, a rooftop bar, wellness area with sauna and pool, restaurant, bar, and outdoor seating. What does the role entail?

You are the first person the guest meets in our restaurants and bars, so it is crucial that you have a warm demeanor and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You have a burning interest in food and beverages and like order and tidiness, both in your own work and in your colleagues' work. All to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be to serve food and drinks and to be responsible for your own cash register. You also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

Who are you?

To fit in the role, you have experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, that is an advantage.

However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit in the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.
