ABOUT THE POSITION

As a senior C++ developer at our client, you will work on the development of advanced embedded systems in an agile environment. You will be part of a team where you develop and maintain software for systems with high demands on performance and reliability. The work involves creating robust and efficient solutions, managing version control, and collaborating closely with other developers, testers, and systems engineers to drive projects forward.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with modern technology and complex systems where you can use your technical expertise to contribute to innovative solutions. You will have a central role in the development process, from requirements specification and design to implementation and testing.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable and who enjoys working both on-site with clients and from the office in Västerås, depending on the assignment. Some of the assignments you may be assigned are security classified, which means that a security clearance will be conducted.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has at least 5 years of experience in system development in C++ and embedded systems.
• Has a completed relevant technical education (Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering or equivalent).
• Has good experience working agile (Scrum, SAFe, or similar).
• Has good knowledge of version control, such as Git.
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English as both languages are used in daily work.

It is a merit if you have

• Experience with MatLab and/or Simulink.
• A background in electrical engineering.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and test-driven development.
• Knowledge of real-time systems or safety-critical systems.
