ABOUT THE POSITION

Our client is one of the largest engineering consulting companies in the Nordics, with clients in defense, defense industry, and other civilian sectors. Your closest team works towards the defense and is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and modification of ground-based radar systems to ensure that Sweden's airspace and associated surveillance radar function optimally when needed the most.

As a project manager, your task will be to maintain contact and report regularly to the client and project team, while collaborating with adjacent projects. The role includes overall responsibility for delivering the project with the right quality, within the specified timeframe and budget. You are responsible for planning and ensuring that the project team has the resources and conditions necessary to successfully carry out their tasks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive projects from planning to execution and closure, both technically and operationally
• Ensure that project deliveries meet established quality, time, and budget requirements
• Report to the end customer, project team, and internal stakeholders about the project's status and progress
• Collaborate with various stakeholders and ensure that project members have the resources and conditions they need

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a technical background, either from studies or previous work experience
• Has experience in a role as a project manager or similar, which is deemed relevant for the role
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as this is used in daily communication
• Has a B driver's license, as travel in service is included to some extent. A personal car is not required, as this can be provided by the client company

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience from the contracting industry
• Experience from the defense sector, for example from the Armed Forces or FMV
• Experience as a project manager in a relevant technical field, such as electrical engineering, systems engineering, or maintenance engineering
