IT Project Manager for our Electricity Trading Business

Your Role

As an IT Project Manager, you will drive business-related projects of varying sizes. You will manage projects from start to finish, which includes requirement specification in consultation with the business, responsibility for workshops, communication, and change management. This also includes resource management, leadership, governance, documentation, and implementation of new solutions. You will collaborate with other departments and functions within our group to drive our business forward.

You will also hold the role of management leader. As a management leader, you will compile the business's needs. You will plan, prioritize, follow up, and report on work within the framework of the management object. Your role will be to ensure that set goals are achieved and that deliveries occur on time, with good quality and at the right cost. In this role, you will ensure supplier management, requirement specification of changes, and procurements.

This is a central role, and as an IT Project Manager, you will contribute to Mälarenergi's ability to drive and develop our business.

We Are Looking For You

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in IT, engineering education at the university level, or other comparable experience. We also see that you have experience in project management and have driven improvement work. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of information and IT security as well as knowledge of methods and tools for management governance and IT governance.

It is advantageous if you have experience in IT procurements and Agile project management.

To thrive in this position, we see that you are structured and have an eye for detail. You also have a strong problem-solving ability and are not afraid to make decisions. You are communicative and can engage and motivate others, and you have a coaching leadership style and want to contribute to the team's growth.

You have the ability to specify requirements and make technical assessments of various IT/OT solutions, as well as lead and prioritize activities and issues at both operational, tactical, and strategic levels.

Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

We sell electricity to businesses and individuals both locally and throughout Sweden. We offer our customers fair electricity agreements from renewable energy sources. The Electricity Trading Department currently consists of 10 people who together have product and result responsibility for the electricity trading business. In this position, you will work closely with other colleagues within the department as well as with employees in other departments within the group.
