Driven Lawyer with Development Interest
As an employee at the Swedish Courts Administration, you have the opportunity to actively contribute to the development within all of Sweden's Courts, consisting of around 80 courts, authorities, and boards with approximately 7,000 employees. About 400 employees at the Swedish Courts Administration work to develop and support Sweden's Courts, with the headquarters located centrally in Jönköping, and local offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Umeå. Your Responsibilities
In the role of business developer, you will be responsible for participating in and leading various assignments and initiatives aimed at developing the operations of Sweden's Courts. You will work closely with the courts and boards and in close collaboration with their employees and management through continuous dialogues. Therefore, you will gain unique insight and the opportunity to influence the development of Sweden's Courts.
The work involves external contacts with both representatives from Sweden's Courts and other authorities. Business trips to the Swedish Courts Administration's various offices as well as to courts and boards are included in the work.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a law clerk with a good understanding of the operations conducted within Sweden's Courts. You have an interest in, and preferably experience with, working on development issues in the courts. We strive for broad competence within the unit, which is why experience as a preparatory lawyer or presenter at one of our environmental courts is meritorious.
You also have a strong interest in communication and trust issues, as well as an aptitude for working with development issues in a broad sense. To succeed in the role of business developer with us, you must be self-driven, proactive, and outgoing. You collaborate with others in a way that inspires trust. You work solution-oriented and have the ability to prioritize your tasks from a stakeholder and operational perspective. You also need to have pedagogical skills and be able to convey messages convincingly. To succeed, you must be a good communicator in both spoken and written form.
To be considered for the position, you must meet high standards regarding judgment, security awareness, and suitability. This means standing up for democratic values and the state values that govern the operations of Sweden's Courts. We require compliance with applicable laws. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
Who Are We?
The unit for business developers is one of three units in the Department for Court Development. The unit supports and drives development initiatives aimed at effective and more uniform case management processes as well as initiatives concerning the internal organization, working methods, and routines of the courts and boards. The unit is also responsible for supporting the courts and boards in their work with trust issues concerning parties and witnesses. The unit collaborates in close and ongoing dialogue with the courts and boards. The unit consists of 13 employees located at the Swedish Courts Administration's offices in Jönköping, Stockholm, and Gothenburg.
Other Information
The position is a permanent employment. A probationary period may be applied. The work location is Jönköping, Stockholm, or Gothenburg. Some of our positions require a security clearance before a hiring decision is made.
