Folkuniversitetet offers day and evening courses as well as lectures in areas such as languages, economics, communication, writing, and aesthetic subjects. Our courses are primarily aimed at individuals but also at associations and companies. For the autumn of 2025, we are now looking for one or more course leaders in photography and basic editing in Karlstad.

About the assignment
We are looking for one or more course leaders in photography. Our courses are mainly conducted in the evenings, but daytime and weekend courses in our premises located in Karlstad are also possible. Various types of courses are of interest, e.g., smartphone photography, photography and editing for social media, marketing photography. Please feel free to bring your own suggestions and ideas! 

You will independently plan and conduct your courses and follow up and register attendance. 

Your competence and background
You have a strong interest and expertise in your subject area and find joy in teaching others. Previous experience in teaching adults is an advantage. Since the instruction is conducted in Swedish, you should be able to express yourself well in Swedish.
As a course leader at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to have the ability to tailor the instruction to individuals and bring out each individual's potential. It is important that you enjoy sharing knowledge and see the positive in participants' development. You are flexible, attentive, and structured, and have experience working independently. We also expect that you share our view on the equal value of all people and their right to knowledge.

Employment form
The employment is a project-based employment (employment per course) with compensation per study hour. Planning takes place in close collaboration with the responsible staff at Folkuniversitetet.
