We are now seeking a leisure teacher for Stodeneskolan who wants to help develop our pedagogical outdoor activities and create inspiring learning activities both on the schoolyard and in nature.

Stodeneskolan has about 360 students, from preschool to grade 6. The school is located in the Stodenes residential area near Stodenesjön and several green areas that provide good opportunities for varied outdoor activities. At our school, we start from the child's curiosity, conditions, and needs. In our teaching, we allow our students to collaborate, take risks, be creative, and innovative. We are a school where modern technology supports learning aimed at future entrepreneurship. Job Responsibilities

As a leisure teacher, you will be part of a team consisting of primary school teachers, leisure teachers, and student assistants who regularly meet to plan and develop the activities. You will perform your work both in the leisure center and at school. Together with your colleagues, you will conduct pedagogical and meaningful teaching that challenges and stimulates students to learn both indoors and outdoors. In your role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing the school's break and outdoor activities. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about outdoor pedagogy, promotes learning and development, and wants to develop outdoor learning environments. We seek a person with a lot of personal drive, creative and independent thinking, and the ability to build trusting relationships.

The job as a leisure teacher is creative, varied, and requires a solution-oriented approach.

Qualifications

Licensed teacher with a focus on leisure education. It is an advantage if you are also qualified to teach Physical Education.

Based on your clear and conscious leadership and experience, you create an open and safe environment where everyone feels included. You have high social competence and a clear desire to develop both yourself and the organization you work in, together with colleagues and management.
