JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher at Hammarlunden's middle school, you will teach social studies and work partly as a resource educator in our support team at the school. The position includes a mentoring role in one of our classes. In your mentoring role, you are expected to take significant responsibility for the students' social situation and knowledge development. You are part of one of the school's work teams where collegial learning is the focus, and collaboration between teachers in work and subject teams is a fundamental prerequisite. As a teacher at Hammarlunden's school, you are expected to have an active role in health promotion and preventive work with a focus on accessible learning environments of physical, pedagogical, and social nature, as well as work with school attendance.

Your teaching is characterized by a language and knowledge-developing approach, and you see all students' opportunities for support and stimulation in teaching as a given. You have the ability to adapt teaching according to the group's needs through guidance and stimulation, as well as extra adaptations.

You are an active and unpretentious leader who prefers collaboration where collegial learning is at the center. You apply a student-centered approach and see students' participation in their own learning as a given.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone who is a qualified and certified teacher in social studies for grades 7-9. Experience working with students in need of special support, knowledge of students within the NPF spectrum, and experience with resource support are considered advantageous.

You should be flexible, have good collaboration skills, and a positive attitude. Be skilled at building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians, and have a strong interest in children's and youth's learning.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the recruitment process.
