Job Responsibilities

At the Department of Robotics, Perception and Learning (RPL), research is conducted in computer vision, robotics, and machine learning.

We are now looking for two postdoctoral researchers in robotics and/or machine learning and/or computer vision with a strong academic background. The successful candidates are expected to conduct research at the highest international level and supervise PhD and master's students.

Qualifications

Requirements

PhD degree or foreign degree deemed equivalent to a PhD. This eligibility requirement must be met by the time the employment decision is made.
Research expertise in machine learning/robotics.
Documented strong programming skills.
We expect you to have an outstanding research and publication record.
You have well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
We expect you to have very good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, as communication is a significant part of the job.

Meritorious

At the closing date of the application, no more than three years since the PhD degree or a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a PhD was obtained.
You have good pedagogical skills.
Awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues with a particular focus on gender equality.
You are independent in your work and have no problems collaborating with others.
